Begin with a simple AC/DC converter -- UL approved and medically rated. This is important. The UL lab has verified that a patient can touch this unit and will not be shocked.

The AC Right-Angle Adapter connects to the wall preventing AC from coming in contact with water. If the AC/DC converter falls into the bath water, then the connection to the wall AC is severed. NO A/C.

A cable connects the AC/DC converter to the polygon-shaped (icosahedron).

The polygon is made of plastic; inside are stainless steel rings and plates, and one copper ring.

How do I use it?

Using ordinary tap water, as hot as possible, but not above 106 degrees, place your feet, hands, or whole body into the water with the Aqua Chi™. Wait up to 30 minutes and see how you feel.

Why does the tap water change color?

Obviously an element has entered into the water to change the color. That element could have been converted from the metal rings; the water (chemicals like chlorine, or bacterial contaminants, or metal, etc.); or from human contact.

How can I determine, from the color of the water, how much of the color is due to toxins coming out vs. how much is due to the natural minerals and/or contaminants such as chlorine in the water that is breaking down due to the ionization of the water?

Water sources may be different, every ionizer unit is at a different level of efficiency due to the wear of the rings, and every person is different.  With that in mind, try the following:
1. Run the unit in 1 liter of water for 30 minutes with no feet in it.
2. Run the unit in 1 liter of water for 30 minutes with feet in it.

Of Primary Importance: Drink the water.

Drink the water! I wouldn't drink that, I saw the pictures!

Of course not, not the water that you've cleaned the feet with!  Here, do this:

1. Place a closed glass bottle of water into a bucket of water, or your kitchen sink.

2. Run the unit for 15 minutes in the bucket or sink.

3. Remove the glass bottle and wash off any residue from the outside of the container, because sometimes tap water will turn a light yellow without any feet in the water.

4. Drink the water out of the glass bottle (it has not been contaminated by the ionized water). It will taste "alive, slippery, silk, effervescent." We believe this water has less surface tension. When drinking this water will travel into the cells easier, remove toxins, and you won't believe how much you will eliminate!

REMEMBER

1. Drink "energized" water every day,

2. Use the Aqua Chi every other day, and

3. Watch the color of the water become more clear over time.

People lose sight of the fact that the most important thing is to drink water that has been energized. (No, not the water your feet's been in!) This energized water is going to do more detoxing when you drink two liters of energized water everyday. The second most important thing is to use it on the hands, feet, or whole body every other day to get energized, and thirdly is the water color but more importantly the water analysis (that will be coming).

Does the water always change color?

No. The factory has tested the unit in distilled water, nothing happened no ionization and no bubbles. However, even with mineral additives for conductivity and 30 minutes of operation there was no color change of the water. Some people there will be no noticeable color change.

Does it matter what water I use, well water, spring water, bottled water, or tap water?

No. Do not use distilled or reverse osmosis water that has no minerals for conductivity. Check the
water before and after with the TDS meter. Start with 400 ppm (10% plus or minus), measures the number of solids at the end of the session.

Does the temperature matter?

YES. The warmer the water, the greater possible change in the color of the water, but not above 106°-.

Why is the water color changing?

When you separate hydrogen from oxygen, you create a void or a vacuum. The particles in your blood and lymph flowing through your feet can be pulled through your skin, called reverse osmosis. Things from a higher concentration move to a lower concentration. It cleans your feet from the inside out.

The color in the water changes even if I don't have my hands or feet in it. Why?

It depends on what has been added to the water such as: chlorine, fluoride, chemicals, bacteria, algae, naturally occurring dissolved solids like salts, etc. which may be the reason for some slight color change.

To test the water for chlorine, use the chemical OTO. Begin with filtered tap water that has no chlorine. Place the unit into the water and run for only 1-2 minutes, the unit must bubble. Check the water and it will indicate chlorine. Where did the chlorine come from? Water has natural salts, the unit separates the sodium from the chloride. That is one explanation of why a smell of chlorine is present during the use of the unit. When people excrete excessive salts, that could be a reason why the smell of chlorine is stronger and may cause more color change.

Adding salt to tap water may cause the water to turn more color due to the chlorine.

The color of the water is the same for each person. Why?

Check the amount of solids in the water using the TDS meter, it should be 400. If the water is highly mineralized, then the water tends to be a light yellow color. The color of the water changes due to an element. If the same element is present in the water, then the appearance can be the same for each person. Without laboratory analysis, there can only be conjecture, guessing of the reason why. More evidence and research is required.

The color of the water is different for the same person. Why?

Research points in the direction that matter going into the body can come out the feet. It is unclear the reasons without controlled studies. A possible answer is that ionized water softens tissues, thereby removing the dead layer of skin. After many sessions, the color of the water may not change since most of the dead layers have now been removed.

The color of the water has lightened up after each session, why?

The element is no longer present in the water. The color may be the same yellow color of tap water when no human was placed in the water, due to the chlorine separating from the salts in the water and on the skin. Remember, the water is still being ionized and even if the color remains neutral, the benefits continue of placing hands or feet into ionized water.

When I used the unit on my next client, black chunks immediately came out of the unit into the clear tap water. Why?

The unit was not cleaned in CLR to remove the grime and deposits on the rings from multiple uses. Re-clean the unit and there should not be any black chunks. Remember the first step in cleaning the unit is to rinse in running water. Shaking the unit under running water will help dislodge particles that form on the copper ring. Follow the other cleaning and sanitation procedure, but before using it on the next client, test the unit in a small bucket of water. The cleaning solution CLR will remove grime, but can take several hours, so leave the unit overnight in the CLR solution.

How do I clean it?

First soapy water, Sanitize (Hydrogen Peroxide), Rinse of clean water. Overnight in CLR (Calcium, Lime, Rust). You can find CLR at Walmart.

How does this ionization thing work?

First, let me ask you a question, what do you see in the water?

Bubbles.

Right. Water is made up of what?

H2O.

Hydrogen and Oxygen are normally gases, but bind together to make water. When you boil water, what do you see?

Bubbles.

It wouldn't feel good if your feet were put in boiling water but we can separate the gases with the unit, do you see the vapors?

So, what does this do?

The ionizing unit separates Hydrogen from Oxygen using electricity.

Electricity!?

Yes it is safe. You see AC is in the wall. This UL approved, medically rated converter changes harmful AC to safe DC. It is the DC that is going to the unit to separate Hydrogen from Oxygen. Do you feel anything?

Yes, a tingle.

The tingle you feel is not electricity or ions, but the blood moving your nerve endings to give the sensation of some type of activity.

What are ions?

An element that has either received an extra proton, or has loss an extra proton, and is out of balance. This water is very active or chaotic.

Why is that important to me?

For example, water is made up of two hydrogens and one oxygen. If energy is applied to two water molecules, one molecule will become H30 (the positive ion) and the other will be HO (the negative ion). There must be a one to one ratio, it is impossible to create more positive than negative ions or vice versa, more negative than positive ions. It is true that the negative ions will migrate to the positive pole, and the positive ions will be attracted to the negative pole, but when mixed, there will always be a one to one ratio.

What if the positive ion and the negative ion meet?

The get back together and makes two water molecules, the ions don't go very far.

What do positive ions do?

The positive ions create acidic water, which hydrates the skin, kills bacteria on contact, soothes nerves, and is used in agriculture, medical and dental industries for disinfection.

What do negative ions do?

The negative ions create alkaline water, which stimulates nerves, increases blood circulation, and softens tissues.

That sounds like double-talk, acid and alkaline water?

Start with tap water that has a low pH of say 6.0, and after 30 minutes, the unit water always become a pH of 7.0, balanced water, neither acidic or alkaline.

So while the feet, hands, or whole body is in a bath with the unit, I get the benefits of positive and negative ions, and minutes later the water becomes neutral in terms of pH. Yes, you've got it.

How often should I use the machine?

Every other day, but not every day, you need to give your body a rest. Once a week or once a month, you will know when you need it again.

Can the Aqua Chi be used at home by ourselves?

Yes!

Does it need special water when taking a footbath, or just water from our faucets?

You can use water from any faucet. As a matter of fact, if you use reverse osmosis or distilled water, you would be using mineral-depleted water and there may not be enough to produce the desired outcome.

Does the unit release both positive and negative ions?

Yes, in equal amount. IonCleanse™ claims to make more one than the other. In water this is impossible. When you have HHO and HHO with energy, one of the H pops over so you have HHHO and HO, the positive ion and the negative ion. It is impossible to make more HO than HHHO, or more HHHO than HO. It is physically, chemically impossible.
